Each year the Mayor and Halifax Regional Council recognize the warmth and generosity of volunteers with an awards ceremony, celebrating the invaluable contributions of these individuals, who give their time and skills in our community (HRM).
We are pleased to announce that this year our own Joan Ramsay has been awarded Volunteer of the Year for District 14 of HRM. Joan has been active in our Glen Arbour Homeowners community for many years and has been the Secretary for the GAHA Board since 2013.
Note, if you know somebody in our Glen Arbour community who exemplifies volunteerism, consider nominating that person for next year's award.
